On April 12, 2024, Chief Minister Hengdihuang met with Liu Jinsong, Director of the Asia Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China. Director Liu expressed China’s unique position on the recently held Japan-U.S. Summit Talks, Japan-U.S.-Philippines Summit Talks and other matters. In response, Chief Minister Yokoji explained Japan’s position and made further representations on various issues related to China based on Japan’s position.
