On March 18, Ambassador Kenji Kanasugi went to the National Medical Security Administration to visit Director Zhang Ke and held an arrival meeting.
Director Zhang welcomed Ambassador Kanasugi to China and expressed his hope to promote cooperation in the medical field between Japan and China based on the consensus reached at the Japan-China summit in November last year. He also introduced the relevant situation of China’s medical security such as medical insurance.
Ambassador Kanasugi again based on the consensus between the leaders of Japan and China, and from the perspective of further promoting cooperation, in the medical field, China is requested to ensure opportunities for exchanges, including equal treatment of domestic and foreign-funded enterprises, improve the business environment, and ensure Product development and safety are fully addressed with cost considerations in mind. 3月18日，金杉宪治大使前往国家医疗保障局拜访章轲局长并举行了到任拜会。
章局长欢迎金杉大使来华履新，并表示根据去年11月日中首脑会谈中的共识，希望推进日中两国医疗领域的合作，他还介绍了医疗保险等中国医疗保障方面的相关情况。
