Ambassador Kanesugi said that last November, Prime Minister Fumio Kishida and President Xi Jinping held a Japan-China summit meeting in San Francisco, USA, and reaffirmed the general direction of comprehensively advancing the “strategic mutually beneficial relationship” and building a “constructive and stable Japan-China relationship.” On this basis, it is hoped that communication between Japan and China at all levels and in various fields will be strengthened in the future, including exchanges between parliamentarians.
