On January 22, Ambassador Kenji Kanasugi visited the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade and met with Chairman Ren Hongbin.
The two sides exchanged views on the success of the three Japanese economic groups visiting China (the Japan-China Economic Association, Keidanren, and Japan Chamber of Commerce and Industry joint delegation) that started visiting China on January 23, and discussed ways to build a constructive relationship in the future. They also agreed on the importance of maintaining stable Japan-China relations, strengthening exchanges and cooperation between the economic communities of the two countries, and communicating to further improve China’s domestic business environment.
